Urban Ecosystem – Alex Shaw

Urban Ecosystem is a continuation of The series entitled Humanly Natural, within this work I created a balancing urban structure much like in my earlier sculptural work ‘Overwhelmed’, within this urban environment a placed my embodiment’s of nature. By doing this I was asking questions about how human are we and who really owns the spaces that we inhabit. Are we just animals creating a new reality to distance ourselves from our own existence?
